Grand Jury Indictments March 2012

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that during the March 2012 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 42 indictments were returned against 39 people.

The District Attorney’s office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk’s office.  Also, names are not released of those indicted but not yet arrested due to an indictment being sealed until the time of the arrest.

Johnny Ray Lassier: Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information

Joel Matthew Gongora: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone; Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence; Aggravated Assault Against Public Servant; Evading Arrest – Deadly Weapon

Hector Gonzalez: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone

James Kirby Peek: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone/Repeat Offender

Kevin Royce Peek: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone Repeat Offender/Habitual Offender

Ralph Steven Herron: Abandoning or Endangering a Child

Bradley Ryan Horton: Theft over $1,500 under $20,000

Richard Nicholls: Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon; Assault Family Violence – Occlusion

Joseph Steven West: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

Marc Shawn Walden: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

Morris Lee Abernathy: Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon; Aggravated Assault Serious Bodily Injury.
