Funeral Services for Pauline Susan Taylor, age 95, of Brownwood will be held Thursday March 29, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Brownwood with Rick Justice officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Creek Cemetery in Brownwood. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. She passed away Friday March 23, 2012 in Brownwood. Pauline was born on August 15, 1916 in Brown County, Texas to Henry Edward and Bessie Louise (Cavel) Haynes.

She married Claude Taylor on February 24, 1945. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and active member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Pauline lived all her life in Brown County, and she became involved with the restorations and activities at the McDaniel Community school house. She loved painting, gardening, quilting, and traveling.

Pauline is survived by 2 sons; Norice Taylor and wife Cheryl of Liberty Hill, TX, Larry Taylor and wife Sherry of Stephenville, TX;

3 grandchildren; Sunday Taylor, Katy Taylor, and Zack Taylor; 3 great-grandchildren; Dustin Garza, Luke Taylor, and Kenna Cashon; 1 nephew, Darrell Haynes and wife Marilyn, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bessie Haynes; her husband, Claude Taylor; 2 brothers, Frank Haynes, and Emmett Haynes; 2 sisters, Belle Cheatham, and Lillie Beaird.
