IMG_1900Pre-sale tickets for the third annual Empty Bowls Project of Good Samaritan Ministries are available at the GSM office at 305 Clark Street or from any board member from now until Wednesday, March 28. Tickets may be purchased for a donation only.

Stop by our office during regular business hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m. Purchase your ticket to expedite your time in line on the day of the event.*  The Empty Bowls Project will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at the Brownwood Coliseum. Make plans to stop by on your lunch break or meet your family when you get off work in the evening.

For a donation only, choose a hand-painted ceramic bowl and enjoy a simple meal of soup or beans, bread and water. There will be live music throughout the day and a “store” where you can purchase items donated from local businesses. For more information, call 643-2273 or 203-2489.

*Disclaimer: Purchasing a pre-sale ticket will not necessarily guarantee you a bowl at the event. Bowls cannot be reserved and will be available on a first come-first served basis.
