The Brownwood Lady Lions basketball team took a big win Monday night in the first round of the playoffs with a 67-30 win over the Wichita Falls Hirschi Lady Huskies.

Scoring for the Lady Lions included Keeta Vaccaro with 19 points,  Sara Byrd with 16 points, Alyson Finnigan with 12 points, Sydnie Darden with 11 points, Patricia Wilson with 5 points, and Dusty Harris with 4 points.

The Lady Lions go to a record of 25-7 on the season.

The team will face Kennedale in the area round of the playoffs at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Eastland.
