Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, February 7, 2012.

Monday, February 6

*1:43pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Avenue B.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 36-year-old Antonio Mendoza Arriaga was driving with a suspended license and was placed under arrest for Driving While License Invalid/Surcharge Due.

*7:25pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a suspicious subject.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a male was at her residence requesting money, but had left prior to the responding officer’s arrival.  The subject showed to have a criminal trespass warning for the property the report states.

*8:03pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Austin Avenue regarding a possible drunk driver.  According to the report, communications advised officers that a tan and white Ford was crossing into other lanes of traffic and struck the cub in front of Sonic when it turned into the entrance.  This call led to the arrest of 53-year-old Michael Hogue of Early for Driving While Intoxicated.

Tuesday, February 7

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Juan Luis Barron of Austin and placed him under a border patrol hold.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
