Audrey Ellen Keas

Audrey was born to Gilford and Zella Dorrough on September 07, 1927, in Binger, Oklahoma. She married Paris Leon Keas on November 03, 1945. Together they raised 8 children. Family was her life. She is remembered to the many people she served as a waitress for Kenneth Wise Steakhouse then to Holiday Inn where she retired as the sweet, kind, hardworking mom and friend to all.

She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and is with him now. She was the “Good Samaritan” and faithful member of Southside Baptist Church. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Leon Keas; 1 son, Gerald Keas; 1 daughter, Shirley Dixon; 1 grandson, Charles Lee Keas; 1 granddaughter, Kari Huggler; 1 sister Juanita Tarver, and parents Gilford and Zella Dorrough.

 

She is survived by sons Delbert Keas and wife Nita of Brownwood, Gilford Keas and wife Pam of Brownwood, Rickey Keas and wife Jeane of Coleman, Terry Keas and wife Lanetta of Tye, TX. Daughters Theresa Huggler Wright of Longmont, CO, Joleta Murray and husband Roger of San Angelo, Becky Gosnell of Longmont, CO; sister, Jenette Keaton of Durango, CO; brothers Buster Dorrough of Kress, TX, Donald Dorrough of Arvada, CO, Glenn Dorrough of Tulia, OK, Tom Dorrough of Hemet, CA; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

All friends and family will celebrate her life Thursday, February 02, 2012, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Allen Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening February 01, 2012, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan. Condolences may be left for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
