Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Shannon M. Long pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Leslie Don Drew, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child was adjudicated and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Drew pled guilty to the felony offense of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender-Failure to Comply with Other Requirements and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Alexander Jose Martinez, on probation for the felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and Retaliation was revoked and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Bobby Preston Evans, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Evans, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Building was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Stetson Don Kelley, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Against a Public Servant, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Kelley, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of Marijuana, was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Alisa Danyelle Morton, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Morton, on probation for the state jail felony of Burglary of a Building, was adjudicated and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Jerod Scott Cyr, plead guilty to the felony offense of Theft Under $20,000-Tubing, Rods, Wire or Cable and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.  Further, Cyr, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Calvin Xavier Mann, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 7 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
