A two-vehicle accident occurred in front of the Brownwood Post Office Tuesday morning causing damage to both vehicles.

At approximately 11:00am, Brownwood police and fire departments responded to the accident scene.  The Brownwood Fire Department sent Rescue 1 to the scene and after an initial evaluation; Guardian EMS was called to the scene.

The passenger car sustained significant damage to its front-end, while the SUV was damaged in the rear. One vehicle was towed from the scene.   No word on the cause of the accident.
