Due to the Christmas Holidays, the City of Brownwood announces City Hall will be closed and there will be no collection of residential waste on Friday, December 23rd or Monday, December 26th. 

Residents with green or blue carts please note that your collections days are as follows:

•  Thursday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday, December 21st.

•  Friday’s routes will be collected on Thursday, December 22nd.

•  Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday, December 27th.

•  Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday, December 28th.

The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Saturday, December 24th through Monday, December 26th and will reopen on Tuesday, December 27th.

As a reminder, if you have brush or tree limbs please cut them into lengths of 5 foot or less and call the sanitation department at 325-643-4200.

For problems with water or sewer within the city of Brownwood, customers may call 325-646-6000 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
