Chaplain Dave Fair of Brownwood has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the Texas State Guard. Fair serves as Chaplain Coordinator for the Texas State Guard.

Fair has been assigned to the 111 EN BN, the JIATF-T and has been deployed to over a half dozen hurricanes. 

The Texas State Guard is part of The Texas Military Forces.
