BFD: Fire & Rescue Reports 12/19

BFDlogoSmallReports released for the week of December 11-17, 2011 from the Brownwood Fire Department indicate responses to 19 medical emergencies, 3 motor vehicle accidents, 3 fire calls, and 1 service call.

Reports of interest include:

December 12

*11:42pm- BFD responded to a fire call which was determined to be an unauthorized burn.

December 13

*2:11pm – BFD responded to a fire call at a residence in the 1700 block of Tulane Drive.  Firefighters arrived to find a small dark spot behind the dryer.  No fire was found; however the owner was advised to contact an electrician.

*4:13pm- BFD was called to a two vehicle accident in the 200 block of S. Broadway.  Fire crews checked for injuries and provided first aid.

December 14

*2:08pm- BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 600 block of Carnegie Street.  Fire crews responded to a call of a power line down. Units arrived to find the line touching the roof of a business.  Oncor was notified.

December 15

*6:12pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident in the 300 block of Main Street. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

December 16

*10:49pm- BFD was dispatched to a service call in the 2400 block of Vine Street.
