The Brownwood police and fire departments responded to a single car accident on Wednesday night around 10:45pm after a car ran off the road and ended up in the Adams Branch culvert between Kroger and El Jimador restaurant in the 400 block of N. Main Street.

Authorities report that the elderly female driver was not injured.  No information was available regarding the cause of the accident.
