Brownwood Police and emergency responders were kept busy Wednesday afternoon and evening responding to a pair of unrelated accidents along Austin Avenue.

A two-vehicle accident (pictured above) blocked traffic at the intersection of Austin Avenue and Main Street on Wednesday afternoon around 3:50pm.

Brownwood police officers diverted traffic around the intersection as responders worked to clear the accident scene between a Dodge pickup and a passenger van.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision, and each vehicle sustained front end damage.

An unrelated accident at the corner of Austin Avenue and Magnolia also blocked traffic on Wednesday evening around 7pm.

This accident involved three vehicles traveling northwest on Austin Avenue.  No injuries were reported in the accident.  See photos of this accident below.
