Law enforcement arrests and reports released Wednesday, November 16, 2011.

Tuesday, November 15

*5:58am-Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of 7th Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the complainant stated he was assaulted by his ex-wife who he did not wish to pursue charges against.  The officer gave the victim information about family violence.

*1:48pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue G regarding theft.  According to the report, during the investigation, the officer learned that the complainant had loaned his laptop computer to a friend.  The report states that he later learned that his friend pawned the computer and then left town.

*3:28pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crocket Drive, Brownwood Regional Medical Center, regarding theft.  According to the report, a patient came to the hospital for treatment and left her purse in a hospital room.  When she returned, she noticed that the purse was missing, the report states.

*5:37pm-Brownwood Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of W. Commerce.  This call led to the arrest of the driver of the at-fault vehicle, 40-year-old Laura Hunt Duffer of Early, for Driving While Intoxicated.

*5:59pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 3rd Street regarding the theft of a bicycle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person stole a bicycle from the side of the residence.

*11:58pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Good Shepherd regarding the burglary of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, a firearm was stolen out of a pickup truck.  The report states that charges are being sought if a suspect is found.

Wednesday, November 16

*12:32am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd regarding a domestic disturbance.  The complainant advised she was assaulted by her sister, the report states.  This call led to the arrest of 20-year-old Megan Lee Ann Perkins for Assault with Injury Family Violence.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
