FSCSeptWinnersRyanEach month, Family Services Center gives a nice prize to a qualifying person or family who signs up for and attends a parenting class during the month.

The September give away went to Tim and Jennifer Ryan of Brownwood (pictured left). They won four tickets to tour Cowboy Stadium in Arlington. The Ryans were excited about their win because of the opportunity to take their teenagers to such a talked about venue. The gift basket also contained a football, candy and many other goodies.

The October give away went to Brandy Shaw of Brownwood (pictured below with Emma WIlliams). His prize consisted of two free tickets to Six Flags, two $10 Sonic gift cards, Six Flags discount coupons for tickets at kids’ prices, snacks, travel games and more all placed in a large bi-folding tote for a car.

The November give away will be a Family Feast basket of gift cards, turkey and other fall treats. To qualify, a parent needs only to sign up for a parenting class and attend during the month from October 24th through November 18th. The drawing will be held November 21st. For every class a parent attends, he or she will get a ticket in the drawing. There are free classes for parents of young children and for parents of teens. Group classes are held several times a week during the day and evening at 901 Avenue B, Brownwood, or at various locations in the seven counties served by Family Services. The counties served include Mills, Comanche, San Saba, Coleman, Eastland and McCulloch in addition to Brown.

Family Services is also currently selling tickets for a drawing for a Big Buck Hunt on December 9-11. The Hunt is sponsored by S & D Whitetails and includes meals and lodging for the three day hunt in Mills or Comanche County.  This hunt is valued at $3500, but tickets for the drawing are only $5 each or five for $20.00. The deadline to purchase tickets is November 18th.

For more information, call FSC at 325-646-5939 or check out the website at familysc.net. Family Services Center is funded in part by TDFPS-Texas Families: Together & Safe, United Way and private donations.
