TruckDamage

A collision between a Chevrolet Traverse and a Dodge Ram 1500 in the 1200 block of Austin Avenue at 4:30pm Monday left only the vehicles damaged; the occupants were able to walk away uninjured.

The wreck blocked the northwest lane of traffic for a brief time as Brownwood Police and Fire Departments along with EMS tended to the occupants and cleared the roadway.

According to the woman driving the Chevrolet Traverse, she was turning onto Austin Avenue from the doctor’s office at 1200 Austin Avenue when the two vehicles collided.  The Dodge pickup was travelling northwest on Austin Avenue, occupied by a man and his two small children.

None of the occupants were injured during the collision.

Air bags deployed in the Traverse as it sustained significant damage to the driver’s side door area.  The truck received heavy damage to its front left.

Pictured above is the damage to the Dodge pickup.
