Funeral services for Danny “Tad” Gene Forbess, Jr. will be Friday October 21, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Crossroads Baptist Church with the Reverend Edmond Wheeless officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at Heartland Funeral Home.
Danny passed away Monday October 17, 2011 at his home. He was born August 25, 1961 in Brownwood, Texas. He was the son of Mary and Mike Mackey and the late Danny Forbess, Sr. Danny was a member of the Crossroads Baptist church.
He is survived by his mother Mary Mackey and husband Mike Mackey, two sons Danny Gene Forbess III and his wife Teniece, their children Dylan, Preston, and Aliece. Michael Paul Forbess and his wife Sheena, their children Jaiden and Shea’Lynn. Three brothers Robert Todd Forbess, Harry Forbess, and Robert Wayne Forbess. He is also survived by two sisters Tabbitha Ball and Tiffany Forbess, his soul mate Caroline Lunceford and her children, Shannon Slaughter his sons Gage and Trevor. Chasity Cartwright and husband Mark, their son Shane. Amberlea Wilson and husband Evan, Ethan Newton and daughter Riley, and Strayder Seward.
