The Howard Payne University cheer squad will host a Junior Jacket Cheer Camp for girls in kindergarten through sixth grade Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29.

During Friday’s 2.5-hour session, children will learn a dance and cheer to be performed during halftime at Saturday’s HPU football game. They will also have the opportunity to perform with HPU’s cheerleaders during the second quarter of the game.

Registration for the camp begins Friday at 3:30 p.m. at HPU’s Wellness Center. The game starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Cost for the camp is $15 per participant and includes snacks on Friday and a t-shirt for Saturday’s game.
