Bangs Defeats Early in Cross-County Showdown

BangsDragonCross-county rivals the Early Longhorn and Bangs Dragons faced off in a highly anticipated game Friday night with the Longhorns starting out strong, but ultimately being defeated by the Dragons 34-13.

Bangs scored three touchdowns in the second half while holding Early scoreless after halftime.   Bangs’ Cameron Deal led the way with two touchdowns and 79 yards rushing.

The Longhorns now go to a 2-1 record in district play while Bangs is now 3-1.  Early will travel to Clyde next Friday night and the Dragons will go to Ballinger.
