Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Johnny Shelton pled no contest to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Shelton, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Orville Ray Boese, on probation for the felony offense of possession of a controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Orville Ray Boese pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Delivery of a Simulated Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

 

Minnie Michelle Coronado pled no contest to the felony offense of Theft over $1500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to 1 year, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.  Further, Coronado, on probation for the felony offense of Theft over $1500 under $20,000 was adjudicated and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
