The Brownwood Lions held a Sonic Car Hop event Saturday, October 1st at the Sonic Drive-In located on Austin Avenue serving up smiles and raising a little money for the Lions Mother’s Club.

Varsity Brownwood Lion football players worked as car hops during the day.  A portion of Sonic’s profit was donated to the Lions Mothers’ Club to help with funding activities for the team. All tips given benefited the Lions Mothers’ Club as well. This fundraiser also helps with funding the annual football banquet in January.

The Brownwood High School Jazz Band played a few numbers during the morning hours of the event.  Throughout the day the, Cheer Squad, Lionettes, and Crew were also present, and KOXE radio broadcasted live from the event.
