bigbrothersbigsisterslogoIt’s time again for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Wheels and Deals event.

Wheels and Deals is a reverse raffle where the last ticket drawn wins a brand new vehicle of your choice.  This year’s choices include a 2011 Ford Fusion, 2011 Jeep Compass or a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 4-door Pickup.

Last year, entries were eliminated one by one after being drawn from a hopper until only the winning entry was left.  Organizers of this fundraiser encourage those who feel unlucky during raffles to enter.

“If you always thought your ticket would be the last one drawn, well this one is perfect for you!,” stated Regional Executive Director of BBBS Gina Jameson.  “We’ll make a fun evening out of it at the Country Club on November 19th, where your donation entitles you and a guest to the dinner and full evening of entertainment.

Raffle tickets can be obtained by donating $100 to Big Brothers and Big Sisters.  Even if you don’t need a new vehicle, organizers encourage you to participate and designate some worthy person or your favorite charity to be the winner, making a difference in someone’s life.

The number of entries will be limited to 750 and you do not have to be present to win.  The “Deal” part of the event starts when the drawing is down to the final 10 entries.  An auction will then begin and ticket holders can make bids to purchase one of the final 10 tickets from their owners to have another chance to win.

The Wheels and Deals event is a fun evening that is highly anticipated, with excitement of ticket holders hoping to be the last ticket drawn.

“The real joy is knowing the good works that these donations make possible as all the funds go to sustain Big Brothers Big Sisters, which is doing life-changing work with one-on-one mentors for children in our community,” said Jameson.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Brown County is a 501-C 3 Charitable Organization – so when you buy a ticket, you donate to a worthy cause, have an evening of fun and excitement, and perhaps drive off in a brand new vehicle.

To donate to BBBS through the Wheels and Deals event, please contact Gina Jameson at 325-643-5600 or 325-998-0103 or contact any BBBS board member.
