Bangs 1st United Methodist Church is having its annual “Lord’s Acre” on September 16 & 17 at the church gymnasium.  A garage sale begins at 9 AM.  The gym is full of bargain furniture, clothing, jewelry, knick knacks, antique items, and much more. You are invited to shop indoors as long as you need to.  A brisket wrap lunch will be served starting at 11:30am.  A drink and dessert are included for $5.

On Saturday, the garage sale continues and the brisket wrap lunch will be available.

There will be crafts available and delicious baked goods. From 5:00-6:30 a traditional turkey and dressing dinner will be served.  Cost for adults is $10 and children under 12 are $7.  Dessert and drinks come with the meal.

At 6:00 PM there will be an auction.  Tickets can be purchased for a beautiful blue and white handmade quilt that will be given away on October 8.
