Brown County Commisisoners’ Court issued the following Legal Notice on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. 

Pursuant to Section 152.013 of the Texas Local Government Code, notice is hereby given of a proposed increase in salaries for Brown County elected officials for Fiscal Year 2012.  All Brown County elected officials’ salaries will be increased by 3%.

Also, the Brown County Sheriff’s salary will be increased by $100.00 per month (in addition to the 3% increase).  Expenses and allowances for elected Brown County officials for Fiscal Year 2012 will not be increased from the previous year.
