China Painting Teachers of Texas to Hold Meeting and Workshop in Brownwood

China Painting Teachers of Texas organization members will be attending their regular meeting and 3 day workshop at Brownwood, Texas on September 7-9, 2011, at the Hampton Inn, located at 1103 Riverside Drive.

The Teachers group will also have an exhibit of their work for the public to view September 7-9 open at 9:00 a.m.  This will be located in the Hampton Inn also.

The workshop will be taught by Celeste McCall of Southlake, Texas.

President of CPTT is Millie Sayers of Abilene, Texas.

Program Chairman and Site Arrangement by Sylvia Herring of Santa Anna, Texas.

About Celeste McCall:

McCall lives in Southlake, Texas with her husband, Leroy McCall.  They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

McCall is currently is the chairman of the Board of International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, Inc. 2010-2012, President of IPAT, Inc. 2008-2010 and Editor of Porcelain Artist magazine 2006-2011.

She has attended the University of North Texas Frank Phillips Jr. College, and Stinnett High and Grade School.  She has taken art workshops from Ben Konis, Julian Robles, Paula White, Jane Marcks, Cherryl Meggs, Kay Houston, Barbara Jensen,  Alice Wofford, Brenda Morgan-Moore and many others. 

McCall has teaching experience with the Texas Teacher group, Louisiana Teacher group, Louisiana Porcelain Art School, Concan, TX, Porcelain Art Classes, Illinois Teacher group, Cazenovia, New York, Professional Porcelain Art School, Georgia Seminars by the Sea, Southwest Pow Wow – Mesa , Arizona, and Many seminars in various states and also in Bangkok, Thailand. 

She has been the featured artist at Indiana Featured artist, California Featured artist workshops, New Mexico Featured artist, and Minnesota Featured Artist.

McCall has demonstrated at the International Porcelain Artist and Teachers Convention and the  World of China Painters Teachers Convention.

She is published in the Porcelain Artist Magazine and the China Painter Magazine.

McCall is also a member of various local and international porcelain art and teacher organizations.
