Funeral services for Jeannie (Neannie) Smith, age 65, of Brownwood, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with Ted Kell officiating.

Jeannie passed from this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 after a lengthy illness surrounded by love and family.

Jeannie was an active and longtime member of the Austin Avenue Church of Christ and loved her community and all Texas sports where she supported her beloved Lions and Cowboys.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Smith of Brownwood, and four children, BJ Smith and wife Marcia of Heidelberg, Germany; Jammie Smith of Dallas, Texas; Mike Smith of Brownwood, Texas; and Kelly Wilson and husband Steve of Doha, Qatar.

She has four grandchildren, Darby and Tayler Wilson, Dave Smith, and Cruz Smith.

Jeannie is also survived by her sisters Bobby McKillip of Desdemona, Texas, Barbara Janda of Thornton,Colorado, and her brother Henry Colwell and wife Sylvia of Bryan, Texas. She was preceded indeath by her father and mother, Robert and Ruth Colwell of Abilene.
