Emergency responders were dispatched to 1500 Terrace Wednesday morning regarding a stabbing.  Initial reports indicated that a man had been stabbed by his girlfriend and needed medical attention.

According to Brownwood Police Assistant Chief James Fuller, BPD officers and EMS arrived to find that the couple had been arguing and the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Natasha Feltner, allegedly picked up a pair of scissors and stabbed the man twice in the upper right arm.  Feltner then left the scene on foot, headed to do some required community service, police said.

Feltner told police that the male was the aggressor that he was breaking her property and punched her in the face; however emergency personnel found no visible injuries on Feltner.

Police said that the male had a different explanation of what had happened, stating that Feltner was putting on her makeup and became angry when he started to talk to her.  He told officers that she picked up the scissors and stabbed him.  When the male took the scissors away, he stated that Feltner hit him in the head with an unknown object and “knocked him unconscious,” according to the report.

Feltner was located at the Law Enforcement Center where she reports for community service and was taken into custody without incident on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The man was treated at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and said to be in good condition.
