Songbird Lodge will be hosting a cookout for the Brownwood Lions football team starting at 6:30pm Thursday, August 11.

The cookout is open to the public and many Brownwood football players along with their families will be in attendance.

In addition to good food, there will also be an autographed football, signed by Coach Shipley and the 2011 Brownwood Lions team, which will be raffled at the event. Raffle tickets will cost $1 each and the football will be given away at an upcoming Brownwood Lions football game.  Proceeds will benefit the Brownwood High School athletic department.

Come join the fun and support the 2011 Brownwood High School athletic department at Songbird Lodge, located at 2500 Songbird Circle in Brownwood.
