ktabontheroad2011KTAB On The Road has been traveling across the Big Country this week and will conclude in Early, Texas tomorrow, Friday, July 22nd.

Come out to the Early City Park to meet Bob Bartlett, Lane Stone, Sam Nichols, and David Robinett as they present the 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm news live.

As an extra treat, the celebration will get a little sweeter for the Brown County town of Early thanks to Blue Bell.

KTAB News and Blue Bell hosted a “Town Spirit Contest” to see which KTAB On The Road stop could earn the most RSVPs on Facebook. Over a 48 hours period, all the stops collected more than 100 RSVPs. However, Early emerged as the clear winner with more than 200.

The victory means in addition to free hot dogs, chips, and drinks that will be available at each stop, everyone who attends the Early event will be able to enjoy a Texas favorite free of charge; Blue Bell ice cream.

If you can still RSVP at the event page:

KTAB On The Road: Early – Friday, July 22

Also, everyone who RSVPs will win the chance to be called to “come on down” and play a special edition of The Price is Right during their On The Road stop. BrownwoodNews.com will be at the event taking photos all evening.
