The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 30 to welcome Mr. W Fireworks as their newest member.

Manager Kenneth Whitley and owners Wayne and Dianna Wildman have opened Brownwood’s first indoor and air conditioned fireworks store.  Located at 2615 Belle Plain, they offer a large assortment of fireworks for the upcoming Independence Day weekend.

Mrs. Wildman said that the store does not carry any of the banned aerial fireworks, and they encouraged everyone to use fireworks safely.

“We appreciate that people are responsible and will be careful, have water next to them, to supervise their children,” said Mrs. Wildman.
