BarnesFuneral Services for Ricky Barnes, 51, of Early, Texas will be held 2:30 P.M. Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Heartland Funeral Home with Larry and John Hood officiating.  Interment will follow at the Lost Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends

6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. After a lengthy illness  Ricky passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Brownwood Regional Medical surrounded by his loving family.

Ricky Mansfield Barnes was born on August 12, 1959 in Brownwood, Texas to Harvey and Nelda Murphy Barnes.   Ricky was a 1977 graduate of Early High School and retired from the BNSF Railway.

Survivors:

Mother:                       Nelda Barnes of Early

Daughters:                   Brandi McCullough and husband Jacob of Early

Bridjett Dail and husband Chad of Early

Kinsey Barnes and friend Peyton Ragsdale of Brownwood

Grandchildren:            Caleb and Brooklyn McCullough and Cayson Dail

Brother:                       Rance Barnes of Early

Sister:                          Jeana Rodgers and husband Ronnie of Blanket

Niece & Nephew:       Ramsie and Reece Rodgers

And a host of relatives, friends and railroad buddies.

Preceded in death by his father Harvey Barnes, grandparents Lonel and Veda Barnes, Ed and Ida Murphy and by his aunt Wilma Lemmons.
