Brownwood will be the host for the next 7-on-7 football state qualifier on Saturday, June 25th.  Fourteen teams will participate in this qualifier looking to secure their spot in the state tournament.   The Brownwood Lions qualified for the state tournament last week in the Tarleton state qualifier.

Pool play for Saturday’s tournament will be at 9am, 10am, and  11am with Brownwood scheduled to play Slaton, Grape Creek, and Comanche.    Bracket games will begin at 1pm.

This year’s Division II state tournament will take place on July 14-15 at Texas A&M campus.  64 teams will compete in the tournament.
