Bruce Toeppich and Jennetta Brown of Brownwood won first place with their stringer of 5 fish weighing in over 15 pounds at the “2 of Us Couples Tournament” held on Hubbard Creek Lake on Saturday, June 18th.

“Winds were high and the fishing was good,” said Brown.

Danny and Brenda Armstrong from Brownwood placed 2nd overall and Danny Armstrong also won the Men’s Big Bass award.  Cory & Deirdre Colyer from Abilene placed third and Deirdre won the Women’s Big Bass award.  Gary Webb & Phyllis Crable from Lubbock placed 4th.  The next “2 of Us Tournament” will be held on Lake Sweetwater on July 9th.
