Graveside services for Bonnie Dorsey, 86, of Lake Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Rev. Benny M. Allcorn officiating under the direction on Heartland Funeral Home.

Bonnie May Dorsey was born on July 28, 1924 in Cross Plains, Texas to Sam and Belle McDonald Monsey.  On December 23, 1950 she married Lester Dorsey at Oceanside, California.  They had lived the past twenty four years at Lake Brownwood moving there from Odessa where she worked for the G.C. Murphy Co.  She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a homemaker.

Husband:      Lester Dorsey of Lake Brownwood

Son:             Doug Sharrock and wife Sharlot of Odessa

Granddaughter:       Shawna Nelle and husband Ross of Flower Mound

Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Mrs. Roy King and Jerry Brinson and by a brother Volley Monsey.
