Graveside services for Dorothy Touchstone Sawyer, 81, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Fairview Cemetery in Brown County.  She passed away Saturday, June 9, 2011

Dorothy Anne Sawyer was born on January 23, 1930 in San Angelo, Texas to Otis and Grace Beaver Touchstone.  She was a graduate of San Angelo Central High School and had attended San Angelo Junior College.  On November 3, 1949 she married Coke Sawyer in San Angelo.  She was a member of the Grosvenor Baptist church and a charter member of the Harris Avenue Baptist Church in San Angelo, a homemaker and had been a resident of Brownwood since 1974.

Husband:             Coke Sawyer of Brownwood

Daughters:          D’Anne Franks & husband Larry of Brownwood and Sharon Allen & husband Randy of Brownwood

4 grandchildren:  Lacy Matthiesen and husband Joe, Chad Mercer, Jessica Cristancho and husband Edwin, Layne Franks

4 great grandchildren:  Harlee & Jacey Matthiesen and Dominic & Sawyer Cristancho

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Rob Coke Sawyer, one brother and by one sister.
