On Friday, June 3, 2001 Patsy Traweek, 78 entered into the arms of Jesus at her home in Bangs, Texas.  Funeral Services  will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Heartland Funeral Home with Pastor David Barnum officiating.   Interment will follow at the Trickham Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Patsy Pauline Traweek was born on January 10, 1933 in Winchell, Texas to Johnnie Mack and Lillie Mae Huggins Richardson.  She grew up in the Trickham Community and attended school at Brookesmith. On February 8, 1950 she married Ray Traweek in Brown County.  Together they worked hard farming, ranching and raising a family.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, McDaniel Quilting Club and the Grosvenor Baptist Church.  In 2009 she served as the Grand Marshal for the Bangs Christmas Parade.  A lifetime resident of this area she enjoyed gardening, quilting and making jewelry.

Survivors:

Sons:                Larry Wayne Traweek and wife Glenda of Bangs

Dennis Ray Traweek and wife Suzy of Bangs

Daughter:         Re’Genna Gamblin and husband Ricky of Bangs

Grandchildren:  Shawnee Traweek, Jason Traweek and wife Traci, Kyle Traweek and wife Kathleen, Heather Thompson and husband Chris and Caleb Gamblin.

Great Grandchildren:  Cheyenne and Kodi Edwards and Mackenzie Traweek

Sisters:             Helen Roberts of Brookesmith

Nelda Rothwell of Lake Brownwood

Judy Pederson of Bangs

Brother:           Bill Richardson and wife Charlsie  of Cross Cut

Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Johnnie Howard Richardson, her niece Terri (Schafer) Willey, six beloved brothers-in-law and five beloved sisters-in-law.

The family requests memorials be made to the Bangs Volunteer Fire Department.

For working to insure dignity and a high quality of life the family wishes to thank:
