LambertDavidFuneral Services for David Lambert, age 72, of Brownwood, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 2, 2011 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Curtis Schneider officiating, interment to follow in Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Lambert passed away Sunday May 29, 2011 in Brownwood.

David was born on May 11, 1939, in Needham, Massachusetts, to Rufus Alfred Lambert and Elsie (Briggs) Lambert. He served in the United States Air Force before going to work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 34 years. David married Esther Teco on May 29, 1985 in N. Andover Massachusetts. He was a member of the American Legion, Brownwood Amateur Radio Club and the Grace Lutheran Church in Brownwood.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Lambert of Brownwood; sons, James Lambert of Mass., Dennis Fernando Lambert of Brownwood, Andrew Jason Lambert of Brownwood; daughter, Griselda Diaz of Brownwood; brothers, Kenneth A. Lambert and wife Margaret of N. Andover Mass., and Wayne Lambert and wife Carol of Jupiter, Fl.; daughter in law, Sandra Lambert of Brownwood; and grandchildren, Chris Diaz Jr., Kim Diaz, and Allison Lambert all of Brownwood and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
