197 Brownwood High School students participated in commencement on Friday, May 27th at the Brownwood Coliseum, becoming the Brownwood High School Class of 2011.

Valedictorian Luke Chastain and Salutatorian Caitlyn Kennedy Cloy each addressed their fellow students (see videos below).  Twenty graduates were also recognized as Lone Star Graduates for completing 30 hours of dual credit courses and each earning a $1000 scholarship through the program.

Col. Morgan Lamb, Commander of the 21st Cavalry Brigade, addressed the graduates as well and recognized four who are joining the military after graduation (see video below).
