Unopposed candidates for Brownwood City Council in the May 14, 2011, election were sworn in  Tuesday, May 24th.

Councilmen Eddie Watson – Ward 2, Carl McMillan – Ward 3, and Jerry DeHay – Ward 5 were each re-elected to another 4 year term.

Brownwood City Council passed an ordinance March 22nd cancelling the May 14th, 2011 General Election and received the Certification of Unopposed Candidates by the City Secretary.
