Graveside services for Colin M. Eby, age 32, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Dick Williams officiating.  Davis-Morris Funeral Home is presiding over the arrangements.

Mr. Eby was born in Austin, Texas on January 14, 1979.  He graduated from Austin High School in 1997 and was a student at Texas State Technical College in Brownwood.  Colin was a longtime member of National Railway Historical Society, a computer technician, history researcher, and avid gardener.

Colin is survived by his mother Patsy Eby, his sister Karen Eby, and his best friend Jay Longley.  During his short illness, Colin, his family and friends were very appreciative of the excellent care and treatment he received from the staff at Lighthouse Hospice and from the many professional medical caregivers that he met in recent months.

Colin loved the beauty of nature so memorials of flowers can be sent to Colin Eby at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.  Any perennials will be re-planted in Colin’s small garden which his family and friends will establish and maintain as a memorial garden for him.
