BRMCLogoBrownwood Regional Medical Center is sponsoring  the Brownwood Community Blood Drive May 22-23 at the BRMC Annex building.

The blood drive will be held at the following times:

*  Sunday, May 22nd from 1:30pm – 6:00pm
*  Monday, May 23rd from 8:00am – 3:00pm

The blood drive will be held in the annex building which is located in the west parking lot.

Each donor will receive a special “thank you” gift and be entered into a drawing for a $100, courtesy of Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Brownwood Regional Medical Center will also make a donation to the school that has the most donors to donate blood, which will be in the amount of $250 toward that school’s project graduation fund!

To make an appointment, call Rachel McClary-Ransier at (325) 649-3391 or Melanie Smith at (325) 649-3303.

Don’t forget, donors receive FREE cholesterol testing every time they donate.  You must be at least 17 years old (or 16 years old with parental consent form), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health to donate.

United Blood Services has been this area’s non-profit community blood provider since 1956, and serves patients in 10 hospitals in 11 counties.  The United Blood Services network is one of the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit blood service organizations, and is a founding member of America’s Blood Centers and the American Association of Blood Banks.
