Three Brownwood High School students participated in the Class 3A state track and field meet this weekend at Myers Stadium in Austin.

Brownwood Lion Derek Longoria took 4th place in the state discus competition with a throw of 162-07.

Brownwood Lion Josh Reece came in 9th place in the state 200-meter dash with a time of 22.61.

Lady Lion Caitlyn Haynes took 7th place in the state 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.72.
