SwindlePhyllisPhyllis Ann Swindle, age 58, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Austin Heart Hospital.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Thursday, April 28, 2011, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, TX at 2:00pm.  Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born on March 19, 1953 in Guam.  The lord gave her to us for 58 wonderful years.  She was a loving and kind person.  She worked at Wal-Mart for the last 12 years.  She was married to the love of her life for 33 years.  They enjoyed just being together, cooking, camping, swimming and playing dominos.  They also loved for family and friends to visit.  She will be missed so much by her friends and family.  Everyone who came in contact with her loved her.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, James Lee Hill; sister, Beverly Joyce Conner of Miles; brother, James Warren Hill, and her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Swindle; mother, Vivian Joyce Strickland; sisters, Cindy and Kelley Smith, all of Brownwood; half-brother, Vance Hill of Monticello, AK; son, Larry Ray and Becky Baskin; and granddaughter, Amy Baskin of Blooming Grove; daughter, Kimberly Rene and Johnny Vaughan and grandsons Dameion Ruiz of Corsicana, Austin Vaughan and granddaughters, Ashley and Taylor Vaughan of Kerens; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She had two very special aunts, Billie Tongate of Early and Mary Sue Inglet of Lake Brownwood; and a loving niece, Melanie Strong of San Antonio for love, support and help she has given us.  She had 2 close brothers-in-law, Billy Ray and Jan Swindle of Seattle, WA and Bobby Swindle of Cisco; as well as a sister-in-law, Donna and Richard Hill of Bridgeport.
