The 3rd Annual Great Easter Egg hunt drew a huge crowd of kids and parents Saturday at Coggin Park.  The event organized by Wendlee Broadcasting – KQBZ, The Breeze 102.3 FM offered over 15,000 pieces of candy and candy filled eggs to the eager kids.

Easter egg hunts were divided into three age groups, 0-3, 4-5 and 6-7 years old.  The kids (and some parents) scrambled to get as many eggs as possible which were filled with candy and special prizes. Bounce houses, two Easter bunnies, pony rides, tours of city fire trucks and police vehicles offered plenty of activities for families to enjoy.

One highlight was the giveaway of the “Bunny with the Money” which offered not only a giant stuffed bunny, but a prize basket and $96.90 cash.  The big winner was Hutton Malone of Brownwood.

Hutton (in stroller) is pictured above along with Ben Cox, Meghan Mask, and his mom Missi Malone.
