GoodSamaritainMinistriesLogoThe annual Good Samaritan Ministries’ Easter Banquet will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at the Beadel Dining Hall on the Howard Payne University campus.

Don Green and the staff of Sodexo will prepare an all-you-can-eat buffet that will satisfy palettes of all ranges and ages.

Cost is only $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 13.

Last year, GSM saw almost 900 diners join them Easter Sunday after church for lunch and they would like to welcome even more people this year.

EasterCrossThe menu includes: Salads: Mixed Green Salads; Southern Potato Salad; Macaroni Salad; Fresh Marinated Vegetable Salad; Apple Carrot Cole Slaw; Mixed Fruit Blend; Whipped Jell-O Salad; Entrees: Carved Glazed Hams; Oven Fried Chicken; Herb Grilled Chicken; Chicken Fried Steaks; Parmesan Crusted Fish; Sides: Red Roasted Potatoes; Mashed Potatoes; Mac & Cheese; Wild Rice Blend; Green Beans Casserole; Steamed Corn; Honey Glazed Carrots; Prince William Vegetable Blend; Assorted Rolls & Breads; Dessert: Cheese Cakes; Carrot Cake; Chocolate Cake w/ Chocolate Icing; Apple/ Peach Cobbler; Vanilla Pudding; Assorted Cookies; Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt.

“The Easter Buffet is a wonderful tradition in the community and we love to see families come together and join us for lunch after their church services,” said Angelia Bostick, executive director of Good Samaritan Ministries. “You’d pay $10 almost anywhere you go to eat so it’s really a bargain to have so many choices of food prepared by Sodexo.”

In addition, the staff and board members of GSM will be serving as hosts and hostesses at the event.
