The City of Brownwood welcomed a new police officer, Robert Lee at Tuesday’s council meeting.

“We’re excited to have you here and to have your family here,” stated Mayor Stephen Haynes.  “We’re excited to have you on the force.”

City Secretary Christi Wynn read the Oath of Office which was followed by Brownwood Chief of Police Mike Corley administering the Oath of Honor to Lee.

27-year-old Lee came to Brownwood from San Angelo, but was born in Brownwood.

Corley invited his wife, Leah to do the ceremonial pinning of the badge.
