Ida Louise Switzer Snider

SniderLouiseIda Louise Switzer Snider, age 91, of Brownwood passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, April 7, 2011, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Louise was born June 4, 1919 in Comanche County, Texas to Samuel Oscar and Susie Ida Switzer.  She married J. B. Snider on March 20, 1945 in Coleman, Texas.  Louise was a housewife and a member of Early First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Snider was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, J.B., a son Larry Eugene Snider, a son-in-law James Ernest Rice, brothers; Winfred Switzer and wife Estella, O.B. Switzer and wife Pauline, and Lewis Switzer and wife Bonnie.

Survivors include; one son, Johnny Snider and wife Elaine of Center, Texas, a daughter Janice Rice-Sheffield and Phillip of Brownwood, five grandchildren; Hayden Snider and wife Kelli of Center, Haley Link of Center, Jeffrey Rice and Gabrielle of Brownwood, Joshua Rice of Brownwood, Jonathan Sheffield of Brownwood, four great-grandchildren; Faith Snider and Sutton Link, both of Center, Jayden Kennamer and Amiyah Rice, both of Brownwood.
