Deborah B. Sommers, age 55, of Odessa, passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Medical Center Hospital.?She was born in Brownwood, Texas, on March 15, 1956, to Ernest “Cotton” Ballard and Barbara (Gilbert) Ballard.?She was a nurse’s aide and cashier.?She worshiped at the Dream Center in Odessa.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Scott Sommers of Odessa; her father,?Cotton Ballard of Brownwood; one son, Guy Ballard of Milsap, Texas; three brothers, Larry Ballard of Weatherford, Steve Ballard of Winters, and Terry Ballard of Chico, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 5th at Acres West Funeral Chapel in Odessa, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Dennis.
