BROWNWOOD, Texas – The American Southwest Conference today announced its softball players of the week and Howard Payne’s Tylene Middleton was named the ASC West Division Hitter of the Week.

ASC WEST DIVISION HITTER OF THE WEEK

Howard Payne freshman shortstop Tylene Middleton (Blanket, TX / Early HS)

went 8-for-15 with two home runs, a triple and nine RBIs over a four-game ASC West Division sweep of Sul Ross State.

Middleton also scored five runs, walked once and stole four bases.
