Brownwood Police responded to a two vehicle accident at the Vine Street underpass just after 4pm on Friday afternoon.  According to police, there were no serious injuries.  The driver of a pick-up truck was issued a citation for Driving While License Invalid.  Initial reports indicate that the wreck was caused as the cited driver attempted to turn by the underpass and collided with a small passenger car.  Pictured above is the scene after the crash.

Other law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, March 25th.

Thursday, March 23

*6:01pm-Brownwood Police met with two complainants regarding forgery.  The complainants stated they believed that their high school aged son had forged nine checks on their checking account.  Information was gathered and a report was generated.  No arrest had been made at the time of the report.

*9:43pm-A Brownwood Police officer spoke with a complainant at BPD regarding marijuana the complainant had found at a local convenience store in the 3800 block of 4th Street.  According to BPD officials, the small amount of marijuana was most likely dropped by a customer unintentionally when pulling something out of their pocket.  The marijuana was seized for destruction.
